Sick

So anyone who has had a child in daycare knows, they get sick.  My kid gets sick a lot.  He was in daycare for 3 days, and had a fever and cough that third day.  Now like the super responsible parents we are, I gave my kid some tylenol and sent him to daycare the next day.  The guilt made me feel terrible, definitely not winning any mom of the year awards, but it was my 4th day back at work, and frankly, I couldn't take off, or bring him to work and actually get stuff done before my students arrived the next week.

So by that Friday guess who had it...ME, Mr. K was away, so my wonderful mother came and stayed with me, and played with Ben while I had chills, fever, etc. 

Flash to Sunday, took Ben to a kid clinic with an ear infection.  Mr. K came home with the cold Sunday and by Tuesday both Ben and Mr. K were better.  Guess who wasn't...ME

So I ignored it just like any mom, pushed through the week, and here comes another Sunday, and I'm coughing uncontrollably and still feeling terrible.  Another weekend clinic another diagnonsis, and here I am sitting in my house on Tuesday, when I should be at work, coughing and hoping that antibiotics will not hurt my unborn baby and actually make me feel better.
